Nannies "On-call"

As a parent we pose these questions for you when you are looking for somebody to trust caring for your children:

Do you feel comfortable with somebody caring for your children being paid $6-7/hr when the average rate a nanny charges is $10/hr and up?               

This is what the sitting services pay there nannies while charging you $11 to $15/hr plus transportation charges.   We use only professional nannies.  Most of your fee goes to the nanny to insure the very best nannies.

Do you feel comfortable with somebody caring for your children with a limited background check done?      

Ask them to be specific on exactly what items they check.   Do they check other states criminal records if the nanny lived there?   We do!   We also check drivers record, social security#, childcare references and personal references in writing, and have personal interviews with the nanny as well as  insuring that they have  CPR training

 1.  Hotel guest  or non-registered families: 

  Call us and we will arrange everything (based on nanny availability)

  Cost - $20 agency fee per day per nanny

  Nanny rates:

1 child    $10/hr,      $1/hr for each additional child. example:    8 hrs for 1 child would cost $100  ($80-nanny, $20-agency or a little over $12/hr

** If you must cancel, we require that you do so beyond 24 hours of nanny start time.  Failure to cancel will result in a $40 cancellation charge.

2.   Families full service on-call    

  • All nannies have complete background check plus CPR certification
  • All nannies were personally interviewed by Nannies Who Care
  • Cost: one-time registration fee of $175 plus $10 reservation fee
  • 4 hour minimum for nanny
  • Nanny rates - see below at our rate section
  • Full service - just call us, we arrange everything

What once was just a service to help our families when their nanny was sick or on vacation has now blossomed into a lot more. 

Since 1989 we have been listening to our families and have given them what they have been asking for.  Professional nannies,  background check second to none, and a nominal fee from Nannies Who Care, Inc..

Some examples for "On Call" service:

  • Going to a hockey or football game
  • Evening out to dinner or some other special event
  • Going out of town on business
  • Weekend vacation

All nannies will care for your children at your hotel or home.  With your permission,  the nanny can take your children to the entertainment centers, the park, swimming pool  or other places by car.

ABOUT OUR NANNIES

We use only nannies who have an extensive background with children.  All of our nannies have passed the following criteria:

  • Extensive Criminal Check (nationwide)
  • Driving Record 
  • Employment References (previous childcare employment)
  • Personal References
  • CPR trained
  • Extensive Nanny Application
  • In-Person Nanny Interview
  • Social Security # verification

All parents will have peace of mind knowing that we specialize in in-home childcare.  Our reputation is based on this.  We do not get involved in any other kind of care other than children.   We spend all of our time recruiting and checking out nannies for both our permanent placement and on-call services.

These nannies are available 24 hours a day / 7 days a week. (note: please call nannies during day hours)

 

RATES

Nannies Who Care, Inc.  only charges a nominal fee (see below) ranging from $10 per day to $20 per day depending on your situation.  

We do not require any additional fees (ex transportation),  nor does the nanny charge more when working late hours.    The most cost effective method for our local families is to get registered.  We then only charge $10 per reservation.  

Our nannies receive the entire amount of the hourly charge listed below.  This is also the going rate of Professional nannies in this area.  This is also why we attract the very best selection of nannies because they know they are compensated properly for their profession.   

What does the Nanny Charge?

  • 1 child            $10/hr
  • 2 children      $11/hr
  • 3 children      $12/hr

 What does Nannies Who Care, Inc. charge?      

Although rates are subject to change,  the following are fees paid to the agency for "On Call" services.  Rates might vary slightly in some areas.

  • If you register: (full service)                            $10 per day for each nanny
  • Hotels/Organizations/one-time guests:       $20/per day for each nanny

** all nannies require a 4 hour minimum.

** Registered local families pay a one-time fee of $175 for the $10 rate above

CANCELLATION   POLICY

We do not have a cancellation policy for registered local families.

  All hotel guests and non-registered families are required to put the agency fee($20) on their credit card.  There is a 24 hour cancellation policy.  This means that the family/hotel guest must cancel 24 hours prior to the time that service will begin. Failure to cancel in a timely manner will result in a credit card  charge of $40.  Nannies are paid in cash or by money order at the time of service.
